Builders

We belive that God is the Master Builder.
In John 14:2 Jesus says,
"In My Father's house, there are many mansions…I go to prepare a place for you."
This place where Jesus has gone is heaven.

What do YOU understand it takes for a person to get to heaven?
Consider how the Bible answers this question.
It's a matter of FAITH:

F- FORGIVENESS
We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God's forgiveness.
"In Him [meaning Jesus] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins…"
(Ephesians 1:7a)

A- AVAILABLE
Forgiveness is available.  And it is available to all.
"For God so loved the world [including you] that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
But it is not automatic."Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 7:21).

I- IMPOSSIBLE
It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven.
Why? Because of who He is and because of who we are.
He is Love. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
He is Just. "He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just.  A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He."
(Deuteronomy 32:18)
"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face." (Psalm 89:14)
We are imperfect.  "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23).

T- TURN
If you were driving down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would he or she be asking you to do?  Change direction! Turn means REPENT.
Turn from something - sin and self.
"But unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
(Luke 13:3)
Turn to Someone - trust Christ only.  The bible says, "Christ died for your sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day..."
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
(Romans 10:9)

H- HEAVEN
Heaven is eternal life.
Here- "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."
(John 10:10b)
Hereafter- "And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
(John 14:3)

How can you have God's forgiveness, heaven, eternal life, and Jesus as personal Savior and Lord?  By trusting in Christ Jesus and asking Him for forgiveness.  He wants you to spend eternity with Him.

Will you?

Here is the step of FAITH described another way:  Forsaking All I Trust Him.
